Thirteen-year-old Morgan Arons won a WNBA kid talent search in 2003 and went on to
sing at Madison Square Garden last August to a crowd
of 14,000! She was invited back to MSG to
sing for the New York Knicks in November 2003.
This talented east coast teen with a
voice big enough for someone twice her size and age has come to the attention of
The Hollywood Reporter and
Rock Remote
as well as music industry insiders who are volunteering to play a mentoring role in her budding career.
Jay Siegel, the leader of the legendary doo-wop group Jay Siegel and The Tokens, was so
taken with "this young skinny thing with such a huge voice and an even bigger heart"
that he and The Tokens sang backup on Morgan's version of their original hit song "The
Lion Sleeps Tonight." It can be heard on her debut CD "Morgan," available on the tower
record music site.
Communicating a strong sense of values, growing and nurturing a sense of self-esteem
and giving back to the community are traits that the Arons family has passed on to
Morgan and her sister. Morgan is not trying to be the next Britney Spears - she is
determined to make it on brains, hard work, talent and quality music. This talented
cool teen artist deserves your support.
Many of Morgan's fans compare her all-American girl look to Hilary Duff and think she'd
be perfect for the Disney channel. Female singers Morgan have been compared to include
Mandy Moore, Vanessa Carlton and Kelly Clarkson.
Morgan's passionate cause is animal rights and animal welfare. She's a volunteer at a
local no kill shelter and gives a portion of all her performance monies to save homeless
animals. "So when I'm on stage I feel extra good because I know that every time I
perform the life of an innocent cat or dog is saved - and that's the best feeling
in the world!"
Give this young unsigned indie artist a listen. When you buy the CD it's a vote of
support for young artists who are trying to make a positive difference in music and
their community. We think you'll rate it "G" for:
General Listening: Good for all ages from 4 - 94
